Every rocket can contain several firework-star explosions. Build each star with its own shape, initial colors, fade colors, trail, and twinkle, then reorder the explosions and replay the combined result in the night-sky simulator.
Accurate survival recipes
Survival mode accounts for the nine crafting-grid slots. Paper and flight gunpowder reduce the number of stars that fit in a rocket, while shape, trail, and twinkle modifiers reduce the dyes that fit in an individual star.
Modern Java commands
Copy a Java Edition 26.2 item-component command for the complete rocket or a selected star. Turn off survival limits to create command-only rockets with longer flight durations or larger explosion stacks.

How do I make a firework rocket in Minecraft?
Combine paper with one to three gunpowder. Add one or more crafted firework stars to give the rocket colored explosions; without a star, the rocket is useful for Elytra boosting but has no explosion.
What changes firework flight duration?
The number of gunpowder used in the rocket recipe sets flight duration from 1 to 3 in survival crafting. Longer duration makes the rocket travel farther before exploding.
Which firework shapes are supported?
Small ball, large ball, star, Creeper, and burst are included, together with primary dyes, fade dyes, trail, and twinkle effects.
Can one rocket have multiple explosions?
Yes. Add multiple firework stars to one rocket. With game limitations enabled, the generator reserves crafting-grid slots for paper and gunpowder and calculates how many stars still fit.
Can I copy the firework into Java Edition 26.2?
Yes. Generate a modern component-based /give command for either the complete rocket or the currently selected firework star.
