MINECRAFT SKIN
VIEWER.
Look up any Java skin, orbit it freely around its true center, preview character animations, and save either the original texture or a polished avatar.
One studio for skins and avatars
Search by Java username or UUID to inspect the current skin, save its original texture sheet, or turn it into a profile-ready render. The interactive modes use the real skin geometry, so the head and full model can rotate freely instead of switching between two preset images.
Exact-angle 3D skin renders
Set full-range yaw, pitch, roll, and zoom with precise sliders, or drag directly on the preview. Every rotation orbits the measured center of the visible head or body, while classic and slim arms, outer layers, and shareable view URLs are supported.
Animated Minecraft skin previews
Test walking, running, idling, crouching, waving, swimming, flying, and attack motions before exporting. Adjust the playback speed or pause on a useful pose while keeping complete control of the viewing angle.
Original texture and transparent exports
Save the player's original PNG skin for reference, or export the current fixed or 3D view with transparency for profile pictures, community graphics, and server artwork.
Private by design
The lookup is sent directly from your browser to MC Heads. Terra Nova does not receive or store the username, UUID, or skin texture.
Before you load a skin
How do I view or grab a Minecraft skin?
Enter a Java Edition username or UUID. The tool loads the current skin as an interactive 3D model and gives you a direct button to save the original PNG texture.
Can I rotate the Minecraft skin to an exact angle?
Yes. The 3D Head and 3D Body viewers orbit around the model's measured center and include full-range yaw, pitch, and roll sliders. You can also drag with a mouse or touch, zoom, and share a URL that preserves the view.
Can I animate a Minecraft skin?
Yes. Preview idle, walking, running, crouching, waving, swimming, flying, and attack animations. Animation speed and pause controls are included for both the full-body and head-focused 3D views.
What is the difference between Front Head and 3D Head?
Front Head is a fixed, high-resolution PNG render. 3D Head is an interactive WebGL model that can be rotated to any angle before exporting the current view.
Does the viewer support slim Minecraft skins?
Yes. Slim arms are detected automatically, and you can manually choose classic or slim geometry when a skin is unusual.
Does Terra Nova store my Minecraft username or skin?
No. The lookup runs in your browser using the MC Heads service. Terra Nova does not receive or save the username, UUID, or downloaded texture.
