We set out to create a welcoming and mature environment where players could immerse themselves in Minecraft without the distractions, unfair advantages, or constant resets common elsewhere.

What is Terra Nova?
Terra Nova is a semi-vanilla Minecraft community for adults aged 18 and above. It preserves the core survival experience while adding security and quality-of-life features.
Is Terra Nova modded or vanilla?
It is semi-vanilla: gameplay stays close to Minecraft while carefully selected plugins improve protection, convenience, and community features.
How do I join?
Join the Terra Nova Discord, open the #join-the-server channel, and follow the application instructions. Discord is the only official route to whitelisting.
What is the age requirement?
All players must be at least 18 years old. The requirement is strictly enforced and exceptions are not made.
Can I use mods or resource packs?
Client-side mods and packs are welcome when they do not provide an unfair advantage. X-ray, combat automation, full-bright packs, and similar cheats are forbidden. Ask staff if you are unsure.
Is PvP allowed?
PvP is allowed with consent or during designated events. Non-consensual PvP is not permitted.
What roles can players achieve?
Players progress from Traveller through Peasant, Citizen, Ancient, and Noble as they become established and contribute. Staff positions are invitation-only.
Is Terra Nova pay-to-win?
No. Terra Nova does not sell ranks, kits, items, moderation influence, or gameplay advantages. Voluntary donations support operating costs only.
How are builds and items protected?
Protection plugins, staff rollback tools, and locked containers help protect builds and possessions. Griefing and stealing are prohibited.
What events are hosted?
The community hosts building contests, PvP battles, special challenges, mini-games, and player-organized events.
What happens to inactive players?
Staff contact inactive players through Discord. Unclaimed shops, farms, or builds may later be auctioned, reassigned, or removed; communicating an extended absence pauses that process.
How do I get help or report an issue?
Open a support ticket on Discord or contact a Knight or Lord.
